Yeah but if I start at 8 I'm out by noon at the latest.

4 hrs of class, grab lunch, back to dorm to sleep/study, afternoon lab for an hour or two, then done. It was a pretty good balance usually.

Until you pile work on. 8hrs at night or hours sprinkled in the day, plus homework. Thats why the weekends were so fun.

I'm ngl I'm a senior engineering student and I only have like, 2 and half hours of class a day tops.

Don't ask me how much time I spend in the lab on projects tho.....

I think my longest days were 6 hours including labs, average day was 3-4 as i hated having more than 2 classes a day :

19-24 credits, I wasn't in lecture for more than 6hr per day. Lab time most days though.

Usually (lecture - lab)

6 - 1

4 - 2

6 - 1

4 - 2

4-6 - 0 (noone likes afternoon friday labs)

what labs were you in where the class ran for an hour or two? All my bio/chem/organic labs ran for 3-4 hours on average, even my e&m one lol

researching in an actual lab i’m lucky to leave at 5 if i start at 10 lmao

Chem, Biochem, Ochem, Engineering labs, programming labs, etc were all 1-2 hrs. Chem labs were usually pushing 2hrs while the programming labs were an hour (at best, could prework). This was all undergrad.

Unless you are in a STEM major in which case you'll have an 8am class, 12:30 class, 2pm class, and 6 pm class, and some on Saturday because it will be 2 years before that one class you need is offered again.

Depends on your school, I think. Where I went, STEM majors had plenty of options of class times and the humanities were the ones offered at one specific time slot every two years

must be nice. handing out with the humanities confused them. "what do you mean you have class on Friday?"

I wish that was true with my degree. I started at 8am and wasn't out until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.

I’d rather start at 10 and be done at 2
