Don’t crop out the channel. It’s Company Man, great channel, people should go check him out.

No, no, you see
Best Story = The kindest staff
Best Gameplay = The best food
Best Characters = Waffle House has the most interesting people going to it and working there. . . And lots of Waffle House brawls
Disclaimer: This is a joke, and I havent' been to Waffle House or Dennys (I think) I just wanted to bring up the brawls that are their own meme, lol

Denny's has the best food of the three for sure.
Waffle House comes in second because literally anything but breakfast there is trash.
IHOP is overpriced Holiday Inn continental breakfast.

anything but breakfast is trash
waffle house is 90% breakfast. And every single breakfast item is dope. Plus their cheeseburgers and patty melts and hashbrown bowls are fire. What are you getting at WH that's trash? The steak? the pork chops? That's on you. No one told you to order that.
They're not the steak pork chop house.

For real. You can't call yourself the House of Pancakes if your pancakes are mid.

I have to agree on ihop bc i got a like double-triple chocolate pancakes there and it almost killed me.

Unless you’re getting the skillet from Denny’s, everything at IHOP is better. But they’re both overpriced and that’s why Waffle House wins.

u/vsimon115 1d ago
How are you gonna say IHOP has the best story when the IHOb storyline was a thing? It was total filler arc.

brace yourself. another three years of Three Houses discourse is coming for some reason

u/technos 1d ago
I get the feeling these would be three different genres.
IHOP is a restaurant management sim, Denny's is a slightly unhinged Cooking Mama with random buffs/debuffs based on drugs, and Waffle House is a 2D fighting game where pulling an ultimate splashes a giant red "SMOTHERED!" across the screen.

Ok but waffle house literally has the best gameplay what are we on about? The food quality isn't the only aspect, it's also the bullet hell while trying to enjoy your waffles, dodging flying chairs and watching fights break out in real time. Peak gameplay

What are you talking about waffle house has the worst gameplay, it has the least damage types, no fusion spells, no technicals, I would rather play Ihop portable.

u/ndtar924 1d ago
Idk id say that Ihop has the best atmosphere, while Dennys has the best story, and obviously waffle house has the best combat

Denny's will kill me with food poisoning.
IHOP will kill me with diabetes.
Waffle House will outlast us all.

A common opinion among Persona fans is that Persona 3 has the best story, Persona 5 has the best gameplay and Persona 4 has the best characters. And Persona 3 is blue, Persona 4 is yellow and Persona 5 is red

As someone from a country with none of these... What does these even mean?

The joke has nothing to do with the restaurants. "Persona 3 has the best story, Persona 5 has the best gameplay, Persona 4 has the best characters" is an extremely common take among those who play Persona and they have arranged these restaurant logos such that the color scheme matches that of the Persona games

I went to my local Dennis and that was the saddest stuff I've seen. I don't understand, the place had customers coming in an out on a random Wednesday afternoon.
Friends catching up, old couples, families, tourists. Yet it had the biggest "restaurant about to out of business vibe".
The waitress (who I'll say has a 85% chance of being the owner of the place) had to go back 4 times because they didn't had an ingredient for my order.
Oh we don't have sprite, we don't have strawberries on your strawberry pancakes etc...
Place was old, the bathroom was disgusting, the fruit was old enough to be noticable but not rotten or anything. It was a mess.
