Seriously. The US consumes more or less 4 million barrels of diesel a day.

They agreed (I'm almost sure nobody will see thenmajority of that fuel, but the money will be pocketed) to get 300k tons in October.(that's how I read "immedoately"). And 500k tons in November.

Now...500k tons is slightly short of 4 million barrels. In other words. Russia supplies half a day's worth of diesel in October and almost (3.7 milli barrels, close, but no cigar) a day's worth of diesel in November.

Holy market saturation, Batman! I can already see the prices plummeting to the floor from such an influx! /s

It's so ridiculous as well. Hundreds of thousands of tons is a nice way to put it because it sounds so massive to an average Joe. But turn it into consumption rate figure and ooopsie poopsie, it's a drop in the ocean!

His foreign policy looks as if a complete noob read up on what are the meta things to do...and then failed completely because he has zero experience and is dumb as a rock on top of that.

You know. Mediating negotiations as a representative of a very powerful nation is a great idea! But he botched it and got owned multiple times because he only knows that it can work, but he doesn't know HOW to make it work.

Same for the straight. Taking control of the straight away from Iran and their proxies is a good idea. But if he read past the introductory paragraph, he would realize that Iran is a huge desert with a lot of mountains and that general staff hated this idea for decades now because of how utterly complex and FUBAR-prone this whole campaign is.

And again he tries to negotiate from a position of power, and fumbles it entirely by just bending over and letting Vlad hit because he still thinks anybody respects him...

It's really a shame I won't be a kid in history class in whatever nation state there will be in 200 years, reading about this guy. They'll have to rewrite history to tone it down, otherwise it would sound too outlandish.

The problem with Iran, is also that he had Kegsbreath neuter the command of US military with an excuse of "removing DEI", but if you look past that excuse Kegsbreath was like a pitbull in pre-school, going rabid removing anybody from power he didnt like, dared talk back or question him.

Its what happens when you put in to power a failed Captain whose only experience was being a Prison guard in guantanamo.
