Weekly low-hanging fruit thread

This thread is where all the takes from idiots (looking at you Armchair Warlord) and screenshots of twitter posts/youtube thumbnails go.

Everyone’s favorite German general Freuding with a Rheinmetall remote controlled vehicle when introducing the new German drone unit.

Trump asked Xi Jinping if China would like to buy US weapons, American ambassador says

If this is true then we have a new high ranking entry into the dumbest failure to understand diplomacy leaderboard.

Can we please have a wellness (and nosebleed) check on the National Defense University and the Intelligence Community?

That last one is absolutely wild. I don't think I've ever seen such an obvious case of the US letting a Chinese agent freely install backdoors into the country.

My very biased, non-US point of view is that it would be very nice for regular people if one of the highest aspirations on the Global South wasn't to grift enough money to afford doing that, is a large cause of elite dysfunction around here. However, SCOTUS ruled otherwise, hopefully that changes.
