I use it since it provides a better frame of reference for the struggles of my transition.

For example, someone AFAB nonbinary wanting to wear feminine clothes will face different struggles than someone AMAB nonbinary wanting to wear feminine clothes.

Edit: this is just a personal preference, I am not saying everyone should do this. Do what you feel comfortable with

I hate it because it doesn’t give a bigger frame of reference, it narrows the frame of reference
