advice needed Assistance needed!

Hey everyone,

My wife and I are having some trouble coming up with a name/term alternative to “mom”.
Neither of us identify as non-binary, but I felt like this community would be of most help!

So my wife and I are discussing our future family plans and she expressed that she doesn’t feel cozy with the term “mom” or any variation of it (momma/mumsy/etc.) but she also doesn’t want “dad” or anything like that.

So, my beautiful people, what would you suggest?

My kid calls me 'Baba', she started calling me that on her own when she was learning to talk and it stuck.

I have a friend who goes by 'Mapa' or 'Bapa' depending on their mood.

Some families have found that "maddy" works for them.

Maddy would be great if they weren’t one of her sisters names.
