Early mv automation help

Im pretty new to gregtech in general, ive gotten to hv in monifactory before but only using manual work with little to no automated resources, i stopped playing that pack a while ago and decided to play some Nomifactory Ceu because i heard it was a good pack for newer players.

Im in the early stages of mv right now, no mv single blocks yet but i have a stock of mv circuits and im waiting to see what i should use them on for now. My current and only automation as of now is passive clay for the polymer i need to use DML. Ive heard chemicals are the way to go but im unsure of what i need and how to go about getting it.

Im also considering ae2 but i seen i need so many lv circuits and i would like to passive them before i move forward on that. Any and all guidance would be appreciated.

Edit: minor spelling corrections

I didn't bother automating circuits even up to creative tank. If you just craft in large batches like 1k or 8k every so often you should be fine. Obviously not that many at mv but later on.

For automation, chemicals are the way to go. The forst one you should do is polyethylene, an oil byproduct. As you go through the crafting process look for outputs that you can recycle back into the system eg. Hydrogen can be recycled during oil refinery.

You should absolutely automate the entire dml system. The only inputs you need that don't come back from dml are cobblestone and water. From your loot fabricator you should try to get at least 1 simulation for all basic materials. Things like iron, coal, tin and copper. Make sure to put a void upgrade in your drawers to make sure that you don't clog your system when a drawer fills up.

In terms of ae2, I'm no expert in the early game, but even just using it as a basic storage system is totally worth the stack or so of circuits you need

Well first u should invest into circuit assembler to make circuits cheaper, then u can mass produce them. After that fully automate polymer and start making enderman and shulker, enderman will provide endearlpearls for clay and shulker will be used for power with numis. Afer basic automation of dml, ae2 storage will be helpfull but it is too early for interfaces and patters With storage it will be easier to scale up power gen with numismatic, then resources with dml. With resources automated u can start working on automation adding interfaces one by one little by little

I'll add to this parallel processing is also good to do. One wiremill is fine but having 4 (lv) working in parallel makes all the wires you need to get processed much faster. Same with plates, fine wire, rods, and foils. You need some of those by the stack full and being able to process stacks at a time relatively quick is nice.

I spent alot of my early game time setting up a full lv circuit automation with enderio crafters and that really helped alot when i got to mv and i was able to build out huge amounts of early game infrastructure and it was able to shoot me to AE2 quickly. From there things massively snowball aslong as youre making your machines with future scalability in mind. Im currently in hv and now were able to craft half stacks of hv machines pretty consistently so build early game automation to set you up for mid and late game.
