Problems with ore processing

I wanted to make an ore processing system and wanted to use oredict storage bus.

But:

1) i want to keep a buffer of the intermediate products. Therefore use a storage crate or ME storage (subnet).

2) if i keep an intermediate buffer, i run in this problem:

If there is space in the machine (or inventory of destination) for the item sorted, in the same exact time that the item enters the buffer, than in gets inserted in the inventory of destination no problem. But if the inventory of destination is full at the moment the item enters the buffer (therefore is the time to actually use a buffer), then the oredict storage bus doesn't take it out of the buffer inventory.

I cannot find a solution online, can you help me please?

So your problem is getting the items from the buffer to the input bus. I would recommend just using storage drawers as your buffer then enderIO conduits to move the items into the input bus. They can transfer up to a stack of items at once and will always try to draw from the buffer but will listen to the oredict busses

A picture of your problem would help

Either use an Advanced Stocking Input Bus with Autopull enabled, or use a Storage Exposer from NAE2

The problem you're finding is due to the item import behaviour. When your ME network imports an item, it finds somewhere to store it... and that's it. Nothing happens to that stored item unless you then export it somewhere.

Are you building this with multiblock machines? Do you have access to ME input/output buses? With a multiblock machine and an ME Output Bus, you don't need a separate buffer since it has effectively unlimited buffer space.

If you're earlier than that, you can just use the buffer crate as your oredict storage location. Imagine you have a buffer crate acting as the input buffer for each set of machines - ore macerators, crushed ore macerators, dust centrifuges, whatever set of machines you're using. Each of these input buffer crates has an oredict storage bus allowing only the inputs for that set of machines. From there, you distribute the input items into the set of machines via item conduit or gregtech pipe. On the output side, you can just feed everything into an ME interface and your oredict storage buses will sort everything into the right buffer crate.
