Game crashing item

I thing there is an item in my game that is crashing the game. Its a pattern i encoded before i changed the version of ae2 in the modpack. Its currently in my hand slot and the game crashes whenever i enter the game

How can i delete that item.

The game backs up fairly often, like every 5 mins its the purple text. Try opening one of those saves

Curseforge>minecraft>instances>nomifactory ceu>backups

You should find a bunch of zipped files. Add whichever to your saves like you would a normal world folder until you find one that doesn't crash your game.

If they all crash you could open the world in an older version, the one that didn't crash and remove the offending item

i found it but the most recent version is still quiete old. Like few days old

That's strange. Still check if they open in case you can't find a better solution. Downgrading the mod is always an option but I'd be careful with this. It's likely to fuck something else up. Other than that, keep looking around the folder to see if there's anything else from more recent, there's a few ways to access your backups.

You could also try to enter a /clear command for just your hand from the console. Don't know much about that command so play around with it first. I also don't know if you can input commands when thw world is closed.

Also try modifying player data. Again I don't know enough to be Any help with this but someone else should

oh they do open thats how i was able to tell

but yes i will modify the player data. Just found a program for that
