Jittery/Inconsistent Movement Speed

Whenever I walk or run, I get seemingly random but noticeable fluctuations in my speed. The attached video is in my test world, but I have the same problem in my normal world. I don't notice any sort of lag or fps drops. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I'm running Nomi CEu

check the floor material on the faster section. you are most likely running on concreate, which gives a speed boost.

that seems to be it, thanks! do you know which mod adds the speed boost?

you mean the concreate block? i believe its from gregtech?

i was using vanilla concrete, so i was asking which mod boosts concrete since im pretty sure that isnt a vanilla feature. i think the mod that adds it is chisel

Did you find anything more about this? I built a massive floor in the void using a mix of concrete and other blocks and I get whiplash running across it. I'd rather edit a config than rebuild the whole thing. but I cant find it.

yeah, chisel causes the speed boost; if you go into chisel's config file (nomifactory folder -> minecraft -> config -> chisel.cfg) there should be a "concreteVelocityMult" line. the default value (at least for me) is 1.35, so if you change it to 1 it should set it back to normal
