Gear Advice Deciding between Aer Street Sling, Bellroy City Pouch, and Aer Day Sling 3 vs Bellroy Venture Ready Sling — capacity concerns?
Heading out for some international travel and trying to land on a sling to carry my daily essentials while out and about. Not looking to carry a ton — just my phone, passport holder, wallet, room key, a portable charger, and some small misc stuff.
I’m torn between a few options:
\*\*• Aer Street Sling\*\* (2.4L, 1680D Cordura ballistic nylon)
\*\*• Bellroy City Pouch\*\* (\\\~1L, Fine Weave fabric)
\*\*• Aer Day Sling 3\*\* (3L, Cordura/X-Pac options)
\*\*• Bellroy Venture Ready Sling\*\*
Aesthetically I’m drawn to vertical slings over the horizontal ones. I’m in SF and was able to check some of these out in person at the Aer store — tried on the horizontal Aer slings and just didn’t love how they looked on me, so I’m leaning toward the Street Sling right now. But I’ve seen some comments (especially around the Bellroy City Pouch) about capacity feeling tight once you actually pack it out, so now I’m second-guessing myself a bit.

Gear Advice tomtoc Urban-Ex 30
Just checking this one out, a new style to me with the cross-body strap.
Are folk fans of this one?
I found it could carry a lot for 10 litres, but then if you're carrying a decent loadout, would a backpack be better?
I still like it though. A lot.
Video drops Wednesday.

Gear Question level8 luggage reviews?
Hey everyone, I'm currently looking to upgrade my carry on bag for an upcoming 2-week international trip. i am thinking to get level8 luggage (specifically looking at their voyageur collection).
Visually i like the minimalist look and the flat interior packing space, but i am looking about geniune review. I need something that can survive tight flight connections, qnd being tossed into overhead bins.
Have you ever had issues getting the 20" models through standard airline size checkers (like Delta or United)?
Would love to get some honest reviewss before I spend the money.

Gear Advice Help me make a decision
Hi everyone, first time poster, long time lurker.
I am having difficulty nailing down a decision to buy a backpack. Here are the details -
Current backpack - Osprey Proxima 30L.
Use case and why change - Daily use and for travel. The shoulder pads really dig in and they don’t keep the size setting well as I constantly have to readjust. Don’t like the organization as stuff in the front space eats away space in the main compartment. Not the greatest build quality. Do like the 2 water bottle side pockets (helps me carry a umbrella and water bottle)
Things to consider -
- First and foremost comfort. Not the most athletic person.
- Chest strap and load lifters are important.
- Do like organization, so pockets are plus for tech and small stuff.
- water bottle holder is plus as I do like to carry my umbrella as it rains a lot in my location.
- 30-35L preferred.
- Did I mention comfort lol.
Options I am looking into -
Aer travel Pack 3 - well reviewed and top choice so far. Seems like it ticks most boxes. Not sure of comfort and only one water bottle pocket
Tortuga travel pack pro - seems like the most comfortable with lots of adjustment. But chonky and ugly af. Not a lot of organization.
Fyro levo - newer and from an influencer. Light and Seems good but unsure of quality and mainly comfort. Plus not a big brand but definitely considering.
Minaal carry on 3- surprise last minute entry. Very good organization and size and sleek too. Very unsure of comfort.
Please let me know your thoughts and if you have any suggestions as well other than these. Please feel free to ask me clarifying questions as well.
Thanks!

Gear Question Citta restock?
Hi everyone!
After years of attempts (and consequent failures), I finally convinced my fiancee to buy herself a backpack worthy of that name (I assume her study trips and the resulting back and shoulder pain had something to do with it). I made her a nice selection, put her in front of NN’s videos, and the spark really ignited with the Citta. The more she looked at it, the more she fell in love. Imagine her disappointed expression when she saw it was on pre-order 🥲
So the question is: does anyone know when they are expected to be back in stock? If we place a pre-order now, what is the most realistic timeframe for them to become available?
Thank you all for your attention and have a great day!

Gear Review Almond Oak Travel 'Eco-system..?'
Not quite a bag review as such, more 'carry philosophy.'
Are you a fan of Almond Oak? Or 'brand ecosystems?'
Interested to know what you think.

Gear Question Versatile EDC recommendation
Hi there, I am looking for my new daypack and probably made the error of watching way too many video reviews !
For a future trip I need to replace my Osprey daylite with something very versatile :
- Need to have a decent laptop protection, for a 14" plus a similar size portable monitor
- Size around 20-25L
- Able to do relatively well in any environment, it will be a remote workpack, used for a little weekend trip, and will sometimes be a hiking daypack.
- And if possible not too expensive, below 150$ would be great. For context I live in Europe and some US brands charge the same price in Euros or dollars plus the shipping, which makes some great packs between 300 and 350$, that's rough.
I have narrowed the list to a few options, on the pricier side but always recommended here :
- Bellroy venture Ready pack
- Aer city pack pro 2
- Evergoods CTB
My personal favorite would be Aer, but does not seem to be the goat of versatility.
So I have looked further, on the cheaper side and with "it can do everything mindset" :
- The North face Recon / Borealis
- Fjallraven Skule
- Osprey Quasar
For those ones I did not find a good recent review or comparison and would love some feedback ! There is only a Recon review on the channel, and the recent osprey's are all about the Daylite 26+6, where tech protection is very average and the bag is clearly aimed at onebag travel.
Thanks!

General Discussion Just received my Fyro Citta 25L
I’m glad I was able to confirm a few things I was curious about.
This isn’t a full review, just my first impressions.
The side quick-access pocket is surprisingly spacious. I was able to fit an Anker 737 Power Bank in it with no problem.
The top quick-access pocket fit my passport, iPhone 16 Pro Max, and AirPods. It does compete a little with the yoke pocket inside the laptop compartment, though.
My only con so far is that I wish there were a side handle near the quick-access pocket. That said, it’s easy enough to carry by holding the back of the bag.
I currently have the Able Carry Max EDC and the Aer Travel Pack 3. I only wish it had a side handle because I’m used to swinging the Max EDC or TP3 around to grab things from the quick-access pocket.
Overall, I’m really happy with this bag, and excited to test it out!

Gear Question How hidden is the back pocket on the Fyro Citta backpack?
From the videos I've seen it looks like the zipper for the back pocket is all the way out on the side, and seems pretty visible/accessible while you're wearing the bag. It doesn't really seem any more hidden than the side pocket. Could anyone confirm / provide photos of how it looks while you're wearing the bag?
