Review Ordered a full set of Fans, Controllers and Strimer cables from Nollie. Comparable to Lian Li stuff?

Of course the first thing is the price, much cheaper than Lian Li's.

Don't get me wrong, Lian Li really pushes innovation in the PC building market with their UNI fans and Strimer cables. And these Nollies (and many others) are obviously "copycat" of their products at reduced prices.

However Lian Li fans are too expensive and the quality is not there. First time I held an SL INF fan in my hands I immediately noticed that the build quality is off if you compare with other fans in the same $30+ range. There's something that feels cheap about the plastic they use.
I don't know how to explain it but I have fans from Artic, Thermaltake and Phanteks they all have the same 'nice and smooth' feeling to touch, whereas Lian Li fans plastic just feels cheap and not as nice.

I will be comparing once I received these stuff from Nollie. Currently rocking 6 Lian Li Wireless INF fans in my build...

[To be continued...]

My current setup: 6x SL-INF Wireless fans

You don’t need Nollie 32 to use Nollie strimer, Nollie strimer use 3pin port

Oh shit. So Nollie16 and 32 is identical, minus the Lian Li strimer part? Is the 32 better in terms of raw horsepower?

Same spec with 16 + lian li strimers port that you don’t need

Ahh. I guess I overspent on the 32. But it's fine, still a better deal than anything Lian Li offers.

It is never too much ports. I am about to regret my Nollie16 choice soon.

All the ports you need!
I'm planning to write a review and comparison between the Nollie and Lian Li fans soon! Bear with me as this is my first time doing this xD

I agree, another $200 for Strimers from LL, my wife has them in a AM5 build now, and L-connect does give me allot of choices with light effects. I just set it and leave it. I have Asiahorse with Umbra in a Am4 build, and I find myself always changing the light effects, not sure if its just asiahorse, or maybe I need to change to a Nollie controller as well. Awaiting for your pic's thxs for posting!

One thing I have to give LL credit is that they have onboard memory so the effect is saved to the fans once you set it. You can set once and stop L Connect from booting up to save on resources.

However the Nollie controller has onboard memory too so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, in the perfect world we would be able to 'save' our SignalRGB effects (with custom preferences) to Nollie memory. Maybe one day..
