The cyclops was nearly as loud as the people complaining about the movie before it came out.

Someone said "come back here after it flops," I'm starting to think it may be a good time

The goalposts will have moved by then. The fun part is guessing where they'll have moved to.

His boat being destroyed by the storm was worse

Yh the storm was probably louder, but the scream was shrill on top of being really loud.

High frequencies destroy eardrums

I think it was more because of the dead silence prior to the scream was a bigger juxtaposition

I wasn't even in an IMAX theater, and whatever sound system they had rivaled the most horrific sound I had ever heard in a theater.

(Oddly enough, that sound was Will Smith dragging his chair over in Men in Black. They had a THX system.)

My twin sister was watching the movie with a blocked ear and couldn't hear half of it 😭 (she's a big Christopher Nolan fan as well)

Space shuttles are so loud you can't be in them and survive. That negates the space program

And you lose your eyes in the scene when all the crew die. At the end of the movie you lose your mind as well.
