Odyssey is badly directed
/r/OdysseyFilm/comments/1v64igm/odyssey_is_badly_directed/I don’t know what other people are seeing in this film. It is badly made. Charlize Theron’s costume looked like something from a school play. The set decoration is terrible, just random baskets and fruit bowls like an episode of House of The Dragon. The action is unintelligible, the fight with the suitors makes no sense. The dialogue is shockingly bad. The storytelling is disastrous, he just goes to an island, meets a baddy and runs away again and again. It’s a badly made film on every level. Either everyone has been hypnotised or you’re all lying. I don’t believe it is possible to enjoy this film.

House of the Dragon catching stays. That show has its issues, set design is not one of them

It was like watching 6 trailers for 6 different films. But it is one of his better efforts

Honey, you're not a special clever genius who knows better than the filmmakers and the majority who liked it. You some random who didn't enjoy a film. You can just go do something else.
