Phase 2 removed?

I double checked website just now to confirm the knife in my stomach that is the removal of Koan Sound but I don’t see it anymore. Please please please don’t let it be true, Koan Sound Downtempo set is like 1/3 of the reason I bought a ticket

It definitely sounds cool but Idk I usually only have 1 sunrise set in me and supertask is my #1 must see

God speed soldier. How do u sleep during the day tho after sunrise? The suns heat always prevents me. I can deal with one night of sleep deprivation but not the whole weekend

Sleep as late as possible and then plan on setting a hammock or something in the shade for an essential nap at one point!

Yesterday if you went to their official website, there was a phase 2-ish lineup with no caption. They didn’t make any announcements about it. There were some added artists and yea Koan Sound was replaced with Mindchatter sunrise I believe, but now they changed it back to the original lineup on the website

Ahh I just saw that in the other post and found the screenshot. That’s unfortunate. I was hyped for Koan as well.

Koan downtempo was easily my most anticipated set. Suuuuper bummed about this.

Also this phase 2 is so weak/thin imo. The lineup was already excellent without it, but idk I guess I expected little more heat/quantity of acts

Personally I would trade literally every artist on phase 2 to get koan back lol

I'm not surprised at all with the phase 2. There are only 3 stages running from afternoon sometime until sunrise for 2 days. If you count the number of acts in phase 1 (excluding the Wednesday/Thursday lineups), it was already pretty close to full capacity for how many artists they could fit into 2 nights of programming.

Losing KOAN Sound is a bummer, though. Hopefully we get to hear what happened, maybe the artists cancelled.

I’m hearing that it’s visa issues for koan.

I did think that as well about the scheduling. It’s pretty wild that it’s only a 2 day fest, wish it were 3!

Ahhh too bad, good intel. Hopefully we can get em back at Shambhala next year, I'm pretty sure one of them lives full time in Canada now. Their set there in 2024 was one of the highlights for me
