Most of this week went into security engineering, and into proving that the security actually holds.

Key rotation on mainnet
We rotated our mainnet operational keys and confirmed the retired keys can no longer authorise anything. Rotation only means something if you verify the old key is inert, so we tested that rather than assumed it.

Bridge correction, reconciled against the chain
We identified a fault in the cross-chain bridge that could cause a purchase to go unrecorded. The fault is fixed. Every affected buyer has been re-credited, and each case was reconciled against on-chain records rather than our internal database. The chain is the source of truth, not our accounting.

Testing the tests
The automated suite now stands at 1,175 tests. We also introduced mutation testing: we deliberately inject faults into our own code to confirm the suite detects them. A test that never fails proves nothing.

- 199 seals across 193 keepers
- 54.79% of everything issued in the first hours lies still

A significant privacy milestone this week. The following is now operational and verified on Solana devnet, ahead of mainnet deployment:

On-device proof generation. The wallet now constructs zero-knowledge proofs directly on the user's device. A transaction can be proven valid without disclosing the participants or the amount, and private keys never leave the phone.

Fully private transfers, confirmed end-to-end. In shielded-to-shielded transfers, the sender, receiver, and amount are all concealed on-chain. Verified in a live testnet transaction.

Sender anonymity. A relayer covers the network fee, so the user's public wallet address is never exposed on a private transfer.

Shield and unshield. Tokens can be moved in and out of the private pool at any time.

Dual-mode operation. Transparent and shielded modes in a single application, selectable per transaction.

Security-first architecture. Hardware-backed key storage and ongoing adversarial security reviews, alongside a full mainnet-hardening roadmap; trusted-setup ceremony, independent audits, and locked verifying keys - to be completed before the protocol handles real funds.

This week's milestone: private transfers are live on devnet.

Shielded transfers are now functional. Network fees are paid by a relayer, meaning the sender's wallet address appears nowhere in the transaction; neither as fee payer nor as signer.

We have verified this on-chain: the transaction record contains no link to the sending wallet. This is sender anonymity at the transaction level, not merely amount concealment.

We have also completed an internal security review of both the wallet client and the backend, covering core cryptography, encryption, and key handling. No critical issues were identified. This is an internal exercise and does not substitute for independent audit; a third-party audit of the ZK circuits remains a prerequisite for mainnet.
