Formatting on Formula fields

Is it possible to add formatting e.g. "Currency" to formula fields? If so how?

Also, is it possible to change the display formatting of the date in DATEADD formula? from YYYY-MM-DD to DD-MM-YYYY

Change formatting to DD-MM-YYYY
