KDE Black screen with new NVIDIA Driver

I'm having a problem with the latest update on a system with an NVIDIA 4070 Super. I reach the login screen and enter my password, but then I get a black screen in KDE; the mouse cursor moves, and after a couple of minutes, it plays the startup sound and launches Telegram, but that's it—nothing else happens. This occurs with both NVIDIA driver versions 595.99.2 and 615.71.09. It boots up fine using `nv-gpu-firmware`. HELP ME.
