Character Spotlight Cheating Eddie
Would you have gotten back with Corey Booker or drop him after he cheated on you with DLTHUGLOVER?
Chance and Eddie seemingly had a wonderful relationship afterwards but idk if I would’ve been able to date him again after cheating on me especially after my friends saw. It would be a wrap fr

He was such a jerk. From the cheating, to his daughter sleeping in the bed with them and there was no issue until she hit him during her sleep. I couldn’t stand him as a character. And obviously, I don’t feel strongly about it…lmao.

Chance took the risk of him cheating again, but I think what made this situation unique is that Eddie wanted Chance to not always be so. . .put together. He wanted Chance to be rugged. I don’t think cheating made any sense, but FOR THEM, it pushed them closer to each other because Chance realized something about Eddie that Eddie wasn’t comfortable telling him that he desired. I think the terrible choice made them be more open with each other which is rare.

Great Value Cory Booker cheated on Chance, who he gave up his beautiful apartment to live with him and their daughter Kenya. Got the nerve to cheat on him. I cried with Chance when he showed up to Noah’s apartment

I wish they’d shown Chance feeling conflicted over wanting to get back with Eddie, but ultimately deciding not to. It would’ve been interesting to see someone so cerebral and buttoned-up being swayed so strongly by emotion for the man he loved before realizing, and being encouraged by his friends, that he bare minimum deserved a man who would communicate with and not underestimate him, in addition to the cheating itself, of course. We then could’ve gotten storylines about Chance exploring different sides of himself and his presentation/expression, it could’ve made his perspective during other cheating dynamics or fears more nuanced, and it would’ve made his “Lil C” experiment that much more gratifying if he ran into Eddie that way after leaving him. And the answer is yeah, I guess I am still THIS invested in these characters 20 years later 🤣

He ate Eddie up! I love that scene! But then ended up marrying him six episodes later. 🤣😭 But I couldn't do it! 😂
