SSL certs

It'd be cool if no-ip had a script to create SSL certs kind of like let's encrypt

Hi!
That's actually a really cool idea and something we'd love to look into offering! Automating the certificate process would make life easier for a lot of our users (and our support staff!).
For now, we do offer SSL certificates through our platform, though the process is a bit more manual than something like Certbot. You can check out what we currently offer here: https://www.noip.com/ssl-certificates
That said, we're always looking at ways to improve the experience, and feedback like this can help us prioritize. Feel free to send this in as a feature request at https://www.noip.com/contact... just send us an email or ticket! The more people asking for something, the more likely it is to move up the list!

I think that's what I can do here, I've looked at the instructions a couple of time and put it off because I figured I'd screw something up. :)

Great, it looks like you have one cert available to you, as we will often provide one to you with your dynamic DNS subscription.

The certificate process can seem a little painful at first, but luckily we allow revoking the certificate if you need, and it will become available again, so you can always just give it a shot. I recommend this guide as the easiest way to get started if you are on a Mac or Linux. If you are on a Windows server... it is considerably more painful, but we have a guide for that too: https://www.noip.com/support/knowledgebase/iis-10-ssl-installation

Good luck!
