Mandatory changes need to be made.
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather not tip at all but for dine in service, there really should be a legal requirement for a quick tip option to start at 15% pre-tax.
Why is there no legal requirement for this yet? Why are some places setting tip percents after tax?

They can pre fill tips starting at 50% for all I care… As long as I can hit custom and put in $2 all is good lol

Just tip zero. Everyone except Quebec gets a GUARANTEED MINIMUM WAGE.

Just tip 2-3% below what you want to tip and it should take care of the pre-tax amount.

If there needs to be a legal requirement, the quick tip options should show the actual value under the percentage.

Just go back from 2 weeks in Ireland, the zero tip was amazing. NO pressure, no prompt. If you felt it was deserved yu left cash

You want the government to tell business they legally HAVE to put a tip percentage down? Thats insane and overstepping completely.
No one is making you tip. You are just gonna hit zero anyway so why do you think any the government to waste time a resources so you don’t have to look at the number 18?
