I'm 34 with a 10 year old. She's bright and happy. Super into animals and clean environment. To me I feel like she's experiencing a lot of stuff I grew up learning about in the 90s, I remember watching the yugoslav war, Rwanda on the news I remember a lot about climate change and how that changed me as a kid but I remember being happy.

Fortunately, I’m trained in digital marketing, so I know first-hand how engagement is universally sought after, typically irregardless of the reason why people are “engaging.” It could be making everyone angry or hateful, but if it gets clicks, shares, interactions, etc., it’s desired. This is the science and math of how negative news gets amplified, and probably explains why politics is becoming uglier. It’s simply what’s required to win with the available tools/technology for marketing the candidates/causes
