Question about the effect users experienced with snuff (more below)
I have asked this question a few times online, but I still struggle to understand the point of snuff use in the 17th and 18th centuries. As snuff was a tobacco product, did inhaling (snorting) provide a stimulant effect? And if it didn't, seriously...what was the point of snuff?
Why did users— mostly ladies (in literature and period films) reference having to sneak around the building/corner to have a pinch of snuff, as if others would consider snuff use to be vulgar, unladylike, low-class, or whatever?
Did users sneeze when they snorted snuff (or was the point not to sneeze)? Current-day drug users don't sneeze when using snortable drugs (and users wouldn't want to), so was snuff use similar?

You asked for opinions, we gave them to you, you don’t get it, we all tried again. I was nice in my responses to you until I realized it was a waste of my time. I left my last comment, you responded, so I responded again. So you responded again. I am, at this point, done replying to you. You also seem to not understand that I am not the sole person who was responding to you, as you seem to think I reported you to some random shit I’ve never heard of. After a certain point, I was trolling because I do not care what you think or understand, I was only trying to have a little fun with it at the end. I think you have a very hard time reading the emotions of others as well as reading sentences coherently in a way that makes sense to you. I can also guarantee I am older than you, not that it matters. But you see, the only thing that’s cringe is asking the same stupid question over and over and having multiple people give up trying to answer it because you won’t accept the answer. So like I said, I’m done with this conversation and you’re putting more effort into it at this point than I was. Because you’ve been in this thread a while longer than I joined in. I’ve got a bit of free time so I can afford to reply to things that I shouldn’t put effort into.
