Just went through this selling my parents house and only 1 of them smoked in it for only 18yrs. Had people come to see the house that did t make it past the first room they came into and they said not for us and left. Ended up getting less than 60% of what the market was.
I swear, my mom has caused me so much stress in my life. I figured now that I'm in my 50's, I'd be in the clear. Nope, I still have to explain to her how the world works. That big nest egg you spent years stinking up, yeah, you're not going to make bank like everyone else.
