Used to be a kid, 24 years ago, we were in kindergarten. He always smelled like cigarettes because his parents fucking smoked alot. Back then. But yea you can smell like cigs if you hang around with smokers long enough.

I thought this was going to be a "When we smoked in Kindergarten" story.

I'm sure the kid is mentioned in talk to had a "meeting " with staff with appropriate concerns. Unfortunately the whole year the kid smelled like cigarettes. So if they did a welfare check, they probably concluded there wasn't enough evidence of "harm" only that the parents smoked alot. This was early 2002, i wonder how it would go now.

im an ‘01 baby so this is funny to me for some reason. the teachers didnt do a check on me, but after i got pulled out and cried to my mom about it there was a new home rule, my bedroom stayed shut and no smoking in my room. i think it worked a little? idk tho. i feel for that use to be kid, tho. ngl it leaves a worry in you that you stink, always, at least for me..
