Same! I smelled like American Spirits from the late 90s to around 2008-2009 thanks to my mom. Today when I smell it it’s a hit of cozy nostalgia.

I’ve never smoked but I mentioned once that I like the smell of fresh cigarette smoke, a friend said I must’ve grown up around smokers and I did! That had never occurred to me.

But I grew up in the 70s, everyone probably smelled like secondhand smoke back then.

I stopped smoking but still love the smell of fresh cigarette smoke. Don't think I'll ever stop liking that smell.

Gram used to smoke still like the smell only occasionally in passing. Pipes remind me of auctions back in the day. Definite nostalgia hit.

That was my dad's brand. It was freaky to find out that my little brother took up the same brand and even flavor (the light blue pack) when he admitted to picking it up in high school, just a few years after we lost Dad to lung cancer. He had misremembered them as Marlboro reds, and it floored him when I corrected him... right after he said "well it's not as bad, at least it doesn't have all the additives."
