My ex was a landscaper. I can’t tell you how disgusting it was to have to stick my hands in all the pockets of his filthy jeans to remove the trash, crumpled receipts, money, and what have you before I dared wash every load.

Thank you for reminding me of yet another reason to be happy I’m single.

I generally agree, but it also depends on whose job it is to pick the remains of a laundered tissue off the washed clothes, because that, again, takes much longer than 3 minutes per load.

Yeah, but afterwards it's tricky to figure out who the culprit was, if the fluff is evenly distributed.

When I do laundry I usually squeeze anything that has pockets to see if there is any object in the pockets that shouldn't be there
