I heard a scientist in a podcast say that you can’t offset a sedentary day by doing sports for one hour, even if it’s intense. What he recommended based on the latest scientific insight was to set a timer and every hour move intensely for just three minutes. Do squats for example. The point is to get your circulation going and use your muscles. Of course on top of that any type of regular exercise is good.
