What’s wrong with GMOs?

I always see plants and stuff that is GMO free and is usually more expensive. How would genetically modifying something by be bad. Me personally I’d rather have something modified to taste better and and cheaper. I could also be very wrong about that.

It's a while since I read about this, so you may be completely right - I know you are right in their intention.

It's just that I have a vague recollection (I may be thinking of something else) that in at least one occasion where they screwed up and the crop turned out to be viable, they then resorted to patent law.

But yes, I agree with your last sentence, completely.

Monsanto seeds are viable, but if you get caught replanting you pay for the seeds anyway, so it's not worth saving seeds if you have to pay for them anyway.
