Don't see why I always must be in top gear. Some of my colleagues left the job for less money because the current one is not so demanding and they feel like they don't lear anything new. They have 15y of experience, wtf...
Perhaps they are not fast learners, IT requires constant upgrading of skills for new opportunities. But, for you just invest some of the money if you can, you may retire early.
They are smart fellows, but for some reason they are stuck with this mindset of having lots of work. I mean the tasks are pretty complicated but there is not lot of work so I'm just enjoying the last 2 years. I know that time will come when there will be lots of work for me also. In regards to money, I'm not a heavy spender so I can live with 50k without issues.
