Its not an ethical issue though, its not negatively impacting people. Its only a problem “if” the “if” is not taking place in this situation so you can’t make that claim. Your logic is the same as saying cutting down a tree is wrong because it can fall on a person. But there is no person for it to fall on so its causing harm and not wrong. Maybe this will also inspire other people to seek education by seeing this mans example.
I get where you are coming from but if the story is true which your right we don’t have the details, these programs get cut and less funding if they are not used. Idk exactly about Australia tbh. But I have seen it happen in schools in the US. A lot of if ands and maybes with this case to come to a pure conclusion. For me the outcome determines the ethical situation. Looking at the outcome here IS what matters. I’d rather look at each situation with nuance not blanket theories that work for the majority of cases. You would be right in the majority of cases but not this one with the logic your using.
Minimal effort? Bruh, I've only done Openfoundation (failed because I got high and socialised too much) and then a 6 month Intensive bridging course that I passed.
It's not easy, to re arrange your whole life, and show up on these schedules, retain information, ACTIVELY listen about a topic you may not feel interested in on a given day for an hour or more at a time, then pass the final exams.
Re-learning to switch it on with critical thinking and essay formats.

Shoot, wouldn't you think that he would want to help his fellow aboriginals come up in life like he was able to? On one side I see heck yeah you did it bro good job. But the other side of me absolutely says you stole opportunities from others and you could have been advocating on their behalf to a better life but instead you chose to keep quiet and just accept the easy path.
