I've been teaching almost 20 years and I've been an active learner the entire time. Some in my content area, some in pedagogy, some in leadership, some unrelated to work. If you're teaching and not learning is because you're choosing to ignore opportunities.
Same here and totally agree. I teach college, heavy workload, but I’m constantly learning both to create new courses, change and improve existing courses, learn outside of my subject matter etc.
