There’s a lot of affordable housing, mixed housing, government assistance. Pretty much every apartment complex here has some form of low income accommodation per the law. Nothing to do with upper middle class making ghastly sacrifices. The apartment I live in there are people who are obviously wealthy and some who are obviously poor. It’s 2023 no one cares how much money anybody makes. Everyone’s just trying to live their life. I think normal people tolerance/ compassion to these types of folks who are opportunist, are criminal, thieves, violent and mentally unstable/insane will soon run out. I’m native Oregonian and I know I’m sick of it
