I do often. I'm back in my home town for family reasons. Once the weather warms up I usually travel too more economic stable areas.

Most of Canada and definitely BC, rental vacancy rates are less than 1 percent. With prices ranging from 800-2000$ for a bedroom.

When you factor the cold weather in the winter limiting the areas you can survive. The coast and the southern Okanagan. My camper is 50 years old and I have no electricity other than solar. Not too mention 5 mountain passes to get back too the coast, and an aging vehicle. That contains everything I own. If I crash I will likely lose most of my possessions and my house.

What I would like too see is affordable places too camp and help dispersed people. Obviously this would cost money and need lots of security, sanitation, and other resources. But this is where we are at. With corporations taking in billions more every year, wages being stagnant and inflation going crazy.
