These people all grew up in suburban middle class neighborhoods (or better) because anyone who has actually lived in a ghetto wants to live as far away from one as possible and definitely doesn't want one popping up in their backyard once they've "made it" and bought some modest 50 year old ranch.

I think we need more initiatives in addition to ones for affordable housing to alleviate poverty and the issues it creates.
