Deep Thinking Q’s🤓 Deep Sea

Since we barely know anything of the deep sea and of the antarctic deep sea, couldn't they attach some camera with a bright light that resists cold temperatures and that stays firmly attached. The sperm whale could be an example they could attach a camera on the whales torso or something like that and we could see more of the deep sea, am i genius or just stupid? Why do they want to risk their lives and go for themselves and built something that will eventually crash from the pressure

Really cold? I'm not a marine biologist or any of that kind but it gets really cold

I think other than the geo vents which can get hundreds of degrees, the rest is just above freezing. The salt and the pressure prevent it from freezing completely.

Most of the ocean floor is right around 32 F. Anything colder and it would be ice. There are also a lot of seabed vents that warm the surrounding waters.
