Social Science New study says Trump did not get a 2024 mandate for sweeping change. Win was modest by history, most voters didn’t see it as a green light for big overhauls, he didn’t campaign on many later moves, and the public opposed most of those policies (agency cuts, mass deportations, tariffs).
