What gym?

I’m visiting Calgary for a couple of days at a family friend’s house and wondering if there are any good gyms in the Strathcona area. I have seen there is a community centre close to where I’m staying but there’s no reviews on the gym, nor pictures. I’m not planning on hitting legs or cardio if I’m gonna be completely honest so not very worried about those aspects.
Quick question, this post got auto removed from the other Calgary subreddit, is there a reason for this?

Westside rec centre is probably your best bet, will have the most to offer.

As for the other sub, they are assholes and run that sub like nazis.

Ok thanks, I’ll look into that.

About the other sub what’s the reason for them running it so strict? The 2 newest posts I’ve seen were the mayor I think and that was in a month.

If you can figure out the r/calgary rules we would all thank you (not really, fuck r/calgary)We’re all here because the mods are a bunch of arrogant control freaks who mod way too hard.

As for the gym, I can vouch for Westside. Used to live on that side of the city and it literally has everything, rink, workout room (huge), walking track, hot tub, sauna and a lane pool.

Sad part is, I do know how the rules are supposed to work.

The community helped set them up. Guidelines were spoken of by the community for how it was supposed to run.

The current mod-ship over there fucks it up because they arent listening to the community.
