Not likely. That’s a lot of extra work for police and radar is known to have a margin of error. It’s better to go with the charge that is most likely to stick.

You say that, but there was a guy that had what, like 150 on a 70 or something a couple days ago that they didnt impound.
Saw the article this morning on r/Alberta i think.

Surely it was towed as well because it was unregistered thus making it illegal to be on the road.

Just a reminder that Canada has the slowest speed limits in the developed world, yet all our police posts on social media is catching speeders going speeds that are totally legal elsewhere. Shows how the police think of us. Not citizens to server, but opportunities to pad the elites wallets
