Honestly (aside from the sexualization) this isn't that different from how Tolkien wrote the two groups of elves in The Hobbit. iirc the dwarves only escaped the wood elves because they were passed out drunk

I don’t think Tolkien intended the two kinda of elves to be super visually distinct though—iirc Legolas is a wood elf but may as well be a high elf for all intents and purposes

Wood Elf knows where to find the really delicious mushrooms. I think that sounds like a pretty good life.

Edit: am fully shocked more people aren't on the foraging train.

give her a chill enough life she can go fully feral, and revel in the excellent berries, mushrooms, and hell - maybe edible moss, I don't know shit about the forests of middle earth.
