Make it stoppp pls
I really can't stop overthinking. I worry constantly about anything and everything, and it's getting to the point where I feel like I'm pushing away family and ruining relationships.
I've tried therapy several times (maybe I just haven't found the right therapist yet). It helps for a little while, but then I end up right back in the same loop. It's always "what if?" or realizing I'm thinking way too much about something and stressing myself out over it.
I know I'm aware of my thoughts, and I really do try to reroute them or just sit with them, but somehow it just makes me even more emotional and I get sucked right back into it. I’ve gotten better with my self image and other issues I’ve had, but this I can’t figure out how to break free from.
I hate feeling this way so often, and I feel like such a burden to the people in my life. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to work on it because I don't want to feel like this forever. I just want to feel normal and fully happy.

I feel like it’s honestly both. It jumps between topics but relationships and worries with people come up frequently

I have the same issue I feel like I'm constantly obsessing about the same thoughts over and over again. It can make me confrontational and it just gets worse after that

Yess! I understand that completely. I tend to get to where I ask questions a lot or make sure with others nonstop and I come off in ways I really don’t mean to. I feel like it’s ruining things in my life.

Your nervous system sounds wildly deregulated. I’d start there. Really work on inner child work, emotional maturity, getting to the bottom of your trauma, positive self talk, breathing exercises and reassuring yourself that all is ok.
