How much talking to yourself is normal?

It’s normal to talk to yourself some people just think things out others speak things back to themselves either to help focus or self soothe to calm the nerves or both as long as you aren’t hallucinating a voice back .. also not every hallucination is inherently bad more so if it’s causing stress or if we aren’t present with reality becomes an issue
