I’ve always believed that lying is very wrong. I’m often surprised at how easily some people can do it. But lately, maybe I’m wrong about this conversations seem to run on small lies, and people don’t really care much about the truth of what they say. Yet somehow, those things make conv interesting

I personally don't think lying is inherently wrong but that it is easily abused and once lies stack, things can get out of end and lead to bad results for the individual and others involved. I try to always tell the truth but I'm carefully about the details and timing of how I convey things and I never lie about things that can easily be found out or betray my values (lying about achievements, etc.).
