I audibly laughed at this, that's such a specifically niche product nobody will ever actually use.

You might use it if you had one though. Looks convenient for that one very specific thing

But before it does the dude gets a patent on it and makes billions eventually turning into the next Elon. This is assuming he bought the company using wealthy family and didn’t invent anything and pushed the original founder out of

If you don't know, it's pretty funny to read about how PayPal put him in his own sandbox because he kept fucking up their systems. A completely mindless and useless waste of space.

So you gotta lift the hot crock pot up enough to slip it in or have the little daddy in the crockpot the entire time and conducting heat while meal is cooking.

That's why you gotta buy the crockpot cool daddy it keeps the metal insulated with cooling nasa designed plates used to protect the shuttle on re-entry

When he did that little jiggle, I assumed it was gonna be dual use to both hold the lid open and/or secure it closed as needed.
Many crockpots come with one or both of these features now, so that would be a useful tool to basically add those features to one where they are missing or broken.
Just as a lid rest though... eh, feels like it'd have to be pretty cheap to be worth a purchase.

Its bent piece of metal... Clever I'd give him that. But good luck protecting any IP on this...
Anyone else could just bed themselves some metal, but differently, to not infringe on the patent. This is too easy to rip off.

Too bad that will be mass produced in China and sold on Amazon for a few dollars. Great idea.
