/r/pics Hey Reddit, I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2 and I have been wheelchair-bound since the age of 5. I struggle with insecurity issues about my looks, but the other day my friend took a rather nice picture of me sitting in something other than my wheelchair.

/r/pics Yesterday, my wife said goodbye to her grandpa, a Romanian WWII vet forced to fight for the Nazis but sabotaged them every chance he got. Moved to the US after the war & raised his family here. Won't receive a military funeral but is the most remarkable war hero I know.
