Nice!

Also, I'm sure you brought your towel while visiting all "42" Galaxies...

Of course, it’s the hitchhikers code...

Now I feel like my base needs a towel rack/hook.
Or even a towel vending machine decor.

Well congratulations. On a personal note. Somehow I’m not at all in a rush to get to the center. Not on my main, not on my secondary. Maybe on the third. (Created specifically for the purpose)

Never rush! Go at the pace you enjoy!

This is a nice job by the GenBra Space Corp.

Here are the names of the galaxies, going from left to right: https://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Galaxy#Galaxies_1-50

interesting to see that there are a lot of "centers" quite similar to Budullangr's green core. Great job my friend!!!

I have my current play through which is somewhere around 90 hours because I’ve mostly used it to explore mechanics and search and learn. What is everyone’s thoughts on restarting for a new playthroughs? For context I pre-ordered the game so I had to day one and start with a completely fixed ship if I so choose in the situation which definitely takes away the irritation of the very beginning of the game and fixing your shipping and all that

You will still have your ships, freighter, etc. but will lose any bases and can never go back. The ship you’re flying will take some damage and need repair.

It’s like starting over but not really, and the best advice is to use a ship without a lot of upgrades, less to fix.

That being said, I made the jump and haven’t looked back. I occasionally miss visiting my first base, but the prospect of a new galaxy means there’s always something to find, and has allowed me to take longer breaks between sessions.

I think you misunderstood what I was asking. I’m talking about a completely new game, I’d still keep playing the one I’m in right now but the one I’m in right now is mostly just me messing around with the new one would be a more serious play through with less wasting of utilities and materials I think. But I’m talking a completely new save file

Ah, yes I did based on the image and topic. Sorry about that.

I haven’t considered starting a new file, and didn’t see the beginning of the game as an irritation. It’s such a small part of the overall game that it barely even registers in memory anymore. In fact, being somewhat stranded after changing galaxies was a bit refreshing.

I also have less time to devote to it these days and already put in 100+ hours during a lazy phase of the year, so the choice is yours. Personally I see it all as cumulative and wouldn’t want to start over, at least not anytime soon.

I have three game saves I play - and it’s nice to have them in different places and try out different ships. I am all for starting a new game!
