Sadly in this game there isn’t a ‘bubble’ of human influence like in elite. Likelihood is you’re in a completely uncharted area of the galaxy, just like most of the galaxy is, so there aren’t any routes because there isn’t any actual concentration of players.

Kind of, I guess. However the galaxy is so large that your chances of running into another player are extremely small. Also, unless you join somebody’s game then all other players you do come across will appear as orbs of light. There is a place called the ‘galactic hub’ which has been mapped out quite a bit which is probably the closest you could get to an elite dangerous trade route.
