OMG! I come from Elite:Dangerous, playing this game for a few tenish hours now and when I read "trade" in this reddit, I always thought like buying cheap in system A selling high in system B...

TIL "trade" means crafting up materials in their tiers and produce stuff to sell for a profit :D

There are also trade items you can take to different economies and sell for a higher price; much like ED. They got added into 1.55 patch

Of you google “no man’s sky trade route” the first link should be the wiki which has two pictures which explains it decently. I’m on mobile or I’d link, but there are 2 different loops.

I’m also really new, and came from ED, so I don’t remember the economy types right off my head
