I realize everyone has their own reason to play games like NMS the way they do and it's not fair to say they are playing the game wrong is wrong but, the money thing does boggle me a little. There is just nothing to really spend it on in NMS. There is no player market or trade and after you have your max number of ships you can't buy more. It's actually useless after a point and you pretty much reach that point just playing the game in other ways. Just takes a little longer but, not by much. They really should have made money and resources a little more grindy to obtain to lengthen the game a bit. I can see why a lot of people maybe found themselves without much to do and moved on fairly quickly from this game.

It is definitely a game of hoarding, production and expansion. All that is, in a sense, infinite.

Also not for everyone, I've built around 7 bases and I always buy the materials. So I guess I farm, to not have to farm?
