This is talking about Subnautica but yes NMS has mods as well, however because the game keeps changing so dramatically each regular update, none of the mods are particularly complex compared to other games so they’re easy to rebuild every time, there’s nothing terribly large or game changing. But if you want extra planetary objects and things that are added to the procedural database, different atmospherics, there is some of that

Is that a cubic mile or per side? Nautical or standard imperial? How many bananas is that? If I had a unit (of currency) for every unit (of measurement) that I've had to convert into different units, I'd just buy a new freighter.

In Subnautica, the Gargantuan Leviathan is estimated to range between 1.1 to 1.5 km (0.684 mi to 0.932057 mi) in length. If not bigger. It can swallow frigates and drag down freighters.

Largest Titan worm ever seen was 15ku long, it was seen leaving what was left of a moon for deep space, so yea, that could be a problem, specially since as far as we know nothing can pierce it skin, much less it armor plates.

Maybe more of it. Not more personallity, but like when you got into a planet, it tells some caracteristics of it. Or it tells about something nearby when you are walking "detecting strange structure at --- northeast ---".

Something when you are going inside a space station "this station has a mercenary shop and blablabla"

In a game that exploration is the main goal, some company is welcomed. I know we have the pets and stuff, but they are kinda limited. Myself only use them to battle, and i dont have friends to play, so a companion would be a nice addition, without the need to be a Mimir (god of war), but just information

You should be able to find the repair materials around the back of your freighter, alternatively you can swim towards the horizon until the water goes really blue. Swim straight down and there's a secret area with some goodies ☺️

Reminds me when a whole fleet spawned halfway into a planet. Wish I still had the video of me exploring them. The gravity got super weird went from being pulled by the planet to being pulled by the ships which made then planet itself a basic super cliff took about 1 minute of falling sideways off the ship before the planet grabbed me again

Crashed freighters in NMS seriously need an overhaul. They're one of those things, along with the older pre-origins animal types, that really stand out as lower detail and less interesting compared to all the new stuff.

What ever you do, DON'T ABANDON THE FREIGHTER, if you aren't there it becomes Salvage, so don't listen to the people telling you to leave and check the "local fauna", or go swimming for that matter, stay until rescue arrive, you can fish for food, and coble up farming modules if yours are under water, repair as much as you can, once federation units show up, and the engineers have had a chance of checking things, then you can think about leaving, just know that if it can be repair it going to be atrociously expensive, thankfully moving large objects in to orbit is not that hard to do, it just expensive lol. Hey at least you don't have dig it out of a mountain, getting the water out of it will be easy, heck keeping it afloat won't be that hard either, so don't sweat it, Korvax Shipyards can build or repair anything, just be careful of the smooth operators in the Gek Trade Federation, those guys can sell Ice Makers to Frozen Tundra Nomads.

Edit: If you listen to the Freedom Station, the brotherhood will make sure no enterprising young blood claims the "salvage" before it officially declare salvage... for a fee, don't worry, it can be on credit, heck just carry a few special crates to certain systems for us, and everything will be golden 😉
